Robert's 1st RC evaluation ride - A Tale of Knight's Ferry

Event date:
Sat, 10/15/2022 - 8:30am

Join your Chapter "Sound Dude" Robert "El Huero" (white boy) launch for a ride through the Central Valley and into Gold Country. From Foster City we will ride across the bridge and make our way to Eagle's Nest HD in Lathrop. We will take a short stretch break at Eagle's Nest, then head North on I-5 and ride East on CA-4. We will follow some back roads, eventually arriving in historic Knight's Ferry in Stanislaus County. Lunch will be at The Rivers Edge located right along the Stanislaus River. This ride is just over 100 miles, so please arrive in the morning with a full tank as no fuel stop is planned along the way. Also, the restaurant has great food and a friendly staff, but they don't do seperate checks for groups, so be sure to bring some US Tender Gold Country Greenbacks to pay your bill. Knight's Ferry has several historic landmarks if you wish to look around after the ride, including the 2nd longest covered bridge in America. This is Robert's first observed lead as a Road Captain Candidate, so clear your schedule and get out and support him as he steps up for our Chapter. As always, RSVP, RSVP, RSVP!
