Berkeley 1/2 Marathon VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Volunteers are needed to help staff the Berkeley Half Marathon.  If you can spare a few hours on a Sunday morning, please contact Assistant Director Larry Hansohn to sign up: [email protected]

For every volunteer who attends, the chapter is paid $90.00 - which helps to fund our chapter's expenses and it's activities: yearly HOG picnic, Holiday Social party, Back to School, Toy Run, etc.  

It's only a few hours and all you have to do is monitor the race course and make sure it is safe for the runners (and get yelled at by ignorant drivers wanting to know why YOU closed their road) - NO running involved.

Your choice; ride up as a group to the marathon -  plan on meeting Henry at the Valero Gas Station in South San Francisco on So. Airport Blvd at 6am ride out at 6:20am
You can also just ride up on your own, just allow enough time to be at your assigned post on time.
